Christmas Giving
During the 2014 Holiday Season, the Joshua Project teamed up with the Church of St. Clare in Colonie, Our Lady of the Valley Church and the United Methodist Churches of Middleburgh, and the Fusion Church of Cobleskill to deliver toys to over 50 families (130+ children).
The Church of St. Clare collected over 300 toys and over 100 rolls of wrapping paper. Those items were received by the Joshua Project and many of the toys were wrapped. Our Lady of the Valley Church and the Fusion Church then identified families throughout the Schoharie Valley who need assistance for the holidays and distributed the items.
Our Lady of the Valley Church and the United Methodist Church also adopted 10 families and collect gifts for the children and parents.
All gifts were picked up, or delivered just before Christmas. Thanks to all that participated.
